“With nearly 600 digital and mobile projects under our belt, many of which were won from word of mouth Marketing, we felt it was time to bring in the talent necessary to build a National Presence – beginning with Kyle”, said Jeffery Potvin, CEO of Hardboot. “With Kyle in place, we have increased our market footprint in this vibrant and growing economic area – businesses that understand the importance of improvement and innovation.”

Hardboot considers the Waterloo Region and Southwestern Ontario market as one of the Country’s most significant. The Area has well-established Insurance and Financial Services sectors, internationally recognized educational institutions, and is a Transport and Logistics corridor. In addition, it is arguably the healthiest manufacturing sector left in Ontario, has support from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, and is a hub for innovation, with a wealth of small and mid-sized businesses/entrepreneurs and new businesses with a start-up rate that leads the Country. The Globe & Mail recently described the Kitchener-Waterloo area (specifically) as “Start-up City”.

With Kyle’s appointment, Jeffery notes that, “Hardboot is now better equipped to reach out to more companies, visit more shop floors, get to know more about the challenges these businesses face and the problems they want to solve…and help more companies grow by providing expert services and the personal accountability that are cornerstone to our commitment to clients’ successes.”

Thomas joins Hardboot from Prevue HR Systems where he was Business Development Manager responsible for expanding their suite of products to the Canadian Manufacturing Sector through partnerships with the APMA, CAMM and the Ontario Aerospace Council.

“The constant in my career, and now in this role, is that I know how to speak the language of the CEO and have a focus on real business goals and objectives – not tech-speak….I help them identify the tools and technologies needed to solve business problems and ensure business profitability”, said Kyle. “… and I understand the importance of optimizing business efficiency whether customer / sales facing, operations, supply-chain or workforce management. As a team, Hardboot works very hard to meet our clients’ business needs and solve the challenges they face on time and on budget….this commitment differentiates us and along with our impeccable reputation for consistently delivering on that commitment, has been what has brought us here, and is what will continue to fuel our growth.”
